Fundación Fondo de Cultura de Sevilla (Focus)  gives notice of the Focus - Abengoa Prize for painting.

Artists from our residents in any EU or American country may participate. In this way, the prestigious Focus - Abengoa prize for painting, established quite some time ago, will also apply to entries from painters other than Spanish.

The amount assigned to prizes is 36,000 Euros, of which 24,000 Euros go to the winner and 6,000 Euros each for two runners-up.

The paintings chosen will be axhibited in the Foundation´s headquarters at Hospital Los Venerables Sacerdotes for a certain period.

There is to be a free choice of subject and any painting technique may be used. Painters may submit - between next October 1st and 15th - only one painting which should be an original work, dated painted during the year.

Painters may apply to Fundación Focus - Abengoa at Hospital de los Venerables Sacerdotes in Seville for the precise conditions established for this prize.
